Patricia Ann Sorrells

 64, of Indianapolis, passed away at home on January 6, 2025. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. She enjoyed reading and astrology. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She had a great sense of humor that she shared daily with her brother and sister in law. She also enjoyed eating out at a Mexican restaurant, which was her favorite type of food.

She was preceded in death by her mother Virginia Mann, and grandmother Gilberta Bell. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her children Robert Sorrells, Jr., Thomas Sorrells (Catherine Vasquez); grandchildren Jesus "Augie" Eversole, Aaron Anderson- Sorrells, Timothy Anderson, Caleb, Colin and two great grandchildren, all of Indianapolis, IN; brother Gilbert (Melissa) Smith of Mooresville, IN; aunts and uncles, cousins along with many extended family and friends.

Following her wishes, she will be cremated. A celebration of Patricia's life will be held privately at a later date.

Patty and I when we were teenagers was going down the street and a bus came passt us and patty yelled out the window “Hey you have something on top of your bus !” The bus stopped and I asked her what did she see and patty looked at me and said why Charlene there were a couple poles on top ! She was being so serious and I busted out laughing and told her that’s a trolly bus that those poles makes electricity for the bus to go , that it don’t use gas “ ! Man was that bus driver mad . We would often talk about that time in our lives when we would talk on the phone . Patty I love you and I’ll miss you dearly but you’ll always be in my heart !
