Patty and Olin were our ‘across the street’ neighbors …………… she always gave out the BEST Halloween candy, and took care of the neighbors. She was always looking out for us neighborhood kids, and then our kids (which in turn, called her Grandma Patty). She loved being a part of our little ‘community’, and always took care of those in need. She was a big part of the neighborhood ‘family’ who took care of my mom (Penny Newman), my Dad (Jim), and all of us when necessary, while Mom was sick. We are going to miss you ………….. the whole neighborhood is going to miss you. Please give Mom a great big hug from us all when you see her, and we hope you Rest In Peace!!! To Steve, Kelly and the rest of the family ……………… She was one of the ‘good’ ones, treasure that, and know she left quite an impact on our little neck of Brooklyn. We all loved her and we are going to miss her. Hoping for strength, love and healing for you all during this difficult time. Steve, Leisa (Newman) and Kyle Peals (now Rome, Georgia residence)
