Rebecca J. "Becky" Tinsley

Rebecca J. “Becky” Tinsley, 60 of Martinsville passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 8, 2014. Becky was born in Colorado on May 11, 1954 to the late Eura Gene and Marianne (Bohley) Jamerson. On July 27, 1976 she married Burrell W. Tinsley, he survives. Other survivors include her children, Joseph B. Tinsley of Martinsville and Jennifer M. Williams of Indianapolis; 2 step-sons, Andy W. Tinsley of Paragon and Anthony D. Tinsley of Martinsville; 3 brothers, Steven, David Patrick, and Thomas Jamerson; her sister, Beverly Menzel; 7 grandchildren, Luke, Cody, Taylor, Haley, Jaycie, Jacob and Josie; 1 great grandson, Emmett. and her daughter in law, Melanie Tinsley. Along with her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her son, Gregory S. Tinsley and two brothers, Michael and Richard Jamerson. Becky worked as a bookkeeper at Forguites & Forguites in Martinsville for 10 years and attended North Madison Baptist Church in Camby. Family and friends will call from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. A celebration of Becky’s life will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, November 14 at the funeral home.
