Richard was my cousin (his mother, Juanita, was my mothers sister-in-law). My favorite memory was, when I was very young and richard let me sit on (I believe) one of his horses, a palomino!! I’ve always loved horses and I was just exstatic that he let me sit on that beautiful animal!! There was no saddle so, he had to help me get on. I was a little scared. The horse was, or seemed, really big! Maybe because I was so young! 🙂
A friend of days gone by, a spirit that will endure. My heartfelt and sincere condolences to Rick’s family. We were classmates at Mooresville. We had not seen each other in 20-some years, and yet when we did, he was always the kind and happy soul that I want to remember now. Too soon, my friend, too soon. Larry Gajderowicz (MHS ’67)
we love and miss you
