Robert T. Hunter Sr.

Robert T. Hunter, Sr. 70, Indianapolis, died August 20, 2013, in his residence. Mr. Hunter was born June 29, 1943, in Indianapolis, to the late John Edward and Dorothy Frances (Hood) Hunter.

He had worked in maintenance at Echo Associates. Mr. Hunter was a member of the Masonic Lodge #669. He enjoyed boating and riding his motorcycle. Above all, Mr. Hunter was a great family man and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Georgeann (Self) Hunter; daughter, Tammy Wright (Darrell Joe) of Indianapolis; sons, Robert Hunter, Jr. of Indianapolis and John Hunter (Amanda) of Monrovia; brother, Edward “Butch” Hunter of Eminence; sister, Pat McGovern of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

The memorial service will begin at 1 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013, in Pilgrim Nazarene Church, 4103 South Lynhurst Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46221. Friends will have the opportunity to greet the family following the service. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
