Roger L. Rincker
April 19, 1943 ~ April 11, 2016
Roger Rincker 'Bumper Thumper', 72, of Mooresville, IN, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 with his family at his bedside.
Roger was born April 19, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Max and Angeline (Crose) Rincker. He married Anita Rincker (Heleine) on February 12, 1988.
Roger retired as a commercial truck driver from Yellow Freight (YRC) after 40 years of service. He was a dedicated and devoted husband, father, and friend. He enjoyed classic cars, football, westerns, and spending time with family. He took pleasure in solving puzzles on the Wheel of Fortune, traveling the United States, and spending time with his buddies at Morgan's Cafe.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Rincker of Mooresville; son, Jimmy Rincker of Nashville, TN; daughters, Cindy Rincker of Princeton, IN, and Meghan (Mike) Kinnan of Cleveland, OH; brothers, Charlie, David, Sam, Steve, and Tim; sisters, Juanita and Rebecca. Also granddaughter, Chelsea and great grandson, Jayden.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate the life of Roger Rincker on Saturday, April 16, 2016, 1 to 3 p.m., in the chapel at Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gasburg Baptist Church.
