OUr Dad, Sumner Sellars really enjoyed Ronald’s friendship, visits and humor. My sister Martha Sellars and myself are unable to attend the services due to difficulty in walking and standing. Blessings, to all. Martha Sellars & Mary Ann Mills
We are the newest gravediggers at White Lick Cemetery.Ron tookgreat care and loved this cemetery. Once I sent some leftover vegetable soup home with him. A few days later he said ‘Oh, thanks for the rhubarb’. I tried to politely tell him I thought. it must have been someone else who gave him rhubarb. He said no, that was just something he always said that his Mother used to say. We loved this guy and his devotion to White Lick Cemetery. I hope we. and Charlie Harvey and the Mooresville Friends Church can continue to live up to the legacy of care that Ron gave this cemetery. Jim and Pam Asher
He drove the bus for our 4 kids. They all loved him, and you could set your watch by him. He will be missed.
You will be missed by many ??
I grew up in the house across the road from White Lick Cemetery. When Ron took over the Sexton duties at the cemetery, I had also assumed the job of taking the flag up and down each day. As a result our paths crossed on a great number of occasions. Ron never failed to have something interesting to say. I must admit, being teased by ‘Ole’ Pritchard’ was an experience quite unlike any other. I sure will miss that character. And as a caretaker of the grounds, I believe he was the finest we ever had out at White Lick.
