Ruth Ann Lindsey

October 2, 1974 ~ September 22, 2024
Ruth Ann Lindsey
49, of Indianapolis, devoted Christian, daughter, wife, and mother, passed away on September 22, 2024 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis. Ruthie was born on October 2, 1974 in Tucson, Arizona to the late Michael Morgan and Patricia Ann (Kirby) Morgan, who survives.
Ruthie served as secretary at Life Line Baptist, serving alongside her husband, Pastor Tim Lindsey II. However, her greatest joy was being a stay-at-home wife and Mom. A self-proclaimed TV-a-holic, she loved keeping up on the latest True Crime Mysteries and Hallmark movies. Additionally, she enjoyed reading and studying the Bible, cooking, shopping, spending time at the beach or the pool, and doing crafts. During her brave battle with cancer, she always remained faithful and peaceful in her journey. She was always thinking of others and their needs before her own. She will be remembered for her incredible hugs, kisses, her warm personality and the incredible knack of remembering every child’s birthday at church.
In addition to her mother, Patricia Morgan, she is survived by her devoted husband, Pastor Tim Lindsey II; children Abigail Ann Lindsey Shadday and her husband Bryce, Timothy Alan Lindsey III, Allison Elaine Lindsey; siblings Donna Lynn Morgan, Rex Michael Morgan; nephews Cameron Rex Morgan, Mason Joel Morgan, Brett Enrique Morgan, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends, who will miss her dearly.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Ruthie’s life on Wednesday, Sept. 25th from 4-8pm at Life Line Baptist Church, in the LIFE Center, 13387 N. Slideoff Rd. Camby. An additional hour of visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 26th from 10am until the services, beginning at 11:00am in the church sanctuary, with Dr. Tim Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow the services in West Newton Cemetery.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Please visit www.CarlisleBranson.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.

I remember her as a teenager at the Christian school. The love she shared with her then boyfriend, Tim Lyndsey II. Also she always seemed so happy and smiling all the time.

Ruthie, I can’t believe you’re gone. We’re all just so shocked and heartbroken right now. You were more than a sister-in-law; you were a friend. You were part of the family long before you were part of the family. I’m going to miss so many things about you. You make fun of me and all the bags I take everywhere I go – I want to let you know that I went on a ladies retreat 8 hours away, and I only took a small suitcase, my shower bag, and my purse. That probably was a just one-time occurrence. I am coming up for your services, of course, and I intend to bring all my separate bags, so I can wink and grin at you. Thank you for the beautiful life you led. Thank you for how you loved my brother Thank you for your kindness and prayers and support through a very difficult time in my own life. I love you so much, and I so very happy to know that I will see you again one day.
Such a wonderful lady, gone too soon. Prayers for all.

Deepest thoughts of sympathy to family and friends of sweet Ruthie. She was a wonderful and sweet student in my early years of teaching. I was so glad to be able to follow Ruthie as she raised her family and shared it with us. She will be missed but I will be comforted having know her.
Pastor Lindsey and Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. May the Lord comfort you with His abiding presence and may you sense His strong, loving arms underneath you sustaining you each day.
“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Psalm 116:15
“The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms….” (Deuteronomy 33:27)
“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” (2 Corinthians 5:8)
“Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.” Romans 15:33
I was with Corning sci-cor as a temporary recruiter august 1995 until the weekend before sept 20 – I met the girls for lunch a few weeks later to show them the baby. I was on maternity leave with ATA. Such a short time that I spent with Ruthie but I remember her well!
