Ruth Lucille Wilson Saxton, 88, Mooresville, died September 1, 2014. Mrs. Saxton was born August 5, 1926, in Scott County, Indiana, to the late Ray and Carmen (Arbuckle) Wilson.
She was a proud homemaker and had worked briefly for Omar Bakery. She loved a good party and lived life to its fullest. With an adventurous spirit, Mrs. Saxton enjoyed traveling and exploring new places. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Robert F. Saxton; son, James D. Saxton; daughter, Teresa M. Hixon; brother, Eddie Wilson.
Survivors include her children, Edna Siluana of California, Robert M. Saxton (Sharon) of Indiana, Gary L. Saxton (Patti) of Washington, Mary Westenhofer of Indiana, Allen G. Saxton (Susan) of Alaska, Ruth Perkins (Jack) of Kentucky, Steven B. Saxton (Frances) of California, Leesann Doan of California, John R. Saxton (Gayle) of California, Joseph P. Saxton of Indiana, Charles C. Saxton (Trish) of Kentucky; brother, James Wilson (Dorothy) of North Dakota; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

I remember Ruth from partying at the American leagen with my mom. They really had good times together. She was a sweet person. God Bless the family. I’ll keep you all in my prayers.
