Shantell Brown

48, of Mooresville passed away on March 30, 2023 at home. Shantell was born on July 5, 1974 in Indianapolis, IN.

Shantell was a devoted wife and mother to her family. She stayed home to raise her daughter until she was in school and then helped supplement the family income by owning and operating her own cleaning business. She loved horror movies and collected many horror movie character masks and memorabilia.  She will be remembered for her courage in beating breast cancer; as well as her kind, caring heart, who would help anyone in need.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Samuel Brown, a daughter Samantha Brown, a sister Kristy Fosgate and a brother Robert Kelm.

A celebration of Shantell’s life will be held privately at a later date.

  6. Shawn has endured a lot the last few years, but kept an optimistic outlook on life.

    When I would visit The Brown Family… often late… after work, she would make certain I had drink and food, if I happened to be hungry. Always thoughtful that way.

    She wanted to make certain people were taken care of and concerned for others !!!

    We will all miss Shawn !

  7. Even though me and my Aunt had a falling out, I still loved her very much. We had so much fun camping. She loved to camp and be out doors. She was kind and sweet. She had a good heart. Im sorry your gone so soon. Im sorry we couldn’t have patched our family back together. I love you so much. It broke my heart to here your in heaven. Rest in peace you beautiful soul.
