Shirley Regina (Crusenberry) Trusty, 75, of Mooresville, passed away April 24, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. Shirley was born May 28, 1943, in Harlan, Kentucky to the late Clifford Marshall Sr. and Eva Marene (Ewing) Crusenberry.

Shirley worked 35 years at Gray Brother’s Cafeteria as a cook. She was a faithful Christian being baptized at Mt. Gilead. She enjoyed cooking, reading, crosswords, but most of all spending time with her family. She is going to be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant son; 3 brothers, Bud, Enos, and Ricky Crusenberry.

Survivors include her two sons, Mark (Nancy) Trusty of Mooresville and Daniel Trusty of Mooresville; sisters, Tincie Payne of Mooresville, Veda (Tom) Ely of Virginia, and Lena “Bea” (Randy) Beard of Mooresville; former husband, Myles Stephen Trusty; grandchildren, Heather (Cory) Kugelman and Kayla Trusty; great grandchildren, Zoey, Lydia, Ryder, Crewe, Sawyer, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 26, 2019, 4 to 8 p.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Additional visitation time is on Saturday, April 27, 2019, 10 to 11 a.m.; funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mooresville Cemetery.
