Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I always loved Spencer!! He had such a sweet spirit and loved God. He has now joined my parents in Heaven.

  2. I don’t have 1 specific memory, rather a whole collection of them. He was a great joy to be around and was always making people laugh. He was very devoted to The Lord and to his family. I love you and miss you Uncle Spencer. Rest in peace and be with your loved ones in Heaven.

  3. I am so truly sorry for your loss, Betty and Lori, and am grieving with you. Bob and I sat under the teaching of Spencer in Sunday School class from 1979-1981. He was the real deal who lived out in front of everyone the life of a Christ follower. Spencer was instrumental in bringing our family to Indiana and became a good friend. I know that Bob was one of the many that met him as he stepped over into heaven. May you know that God is right there with you carrying you in this time of great sorrow as He carried me 4 years ago. Candy Feathers

  4. My love and prayers to Betty and Lori. I have wonderful memories of that sweet man. He always had a smile on his face.

  5. May Christ’s loving arms surround the whole Ingram family in there time of sorrow. Spencer was truley a man of God, and is with Christ. He will truley be misssed by many he touched. I love Spencer and his whole family more than words can discribe. It will be a great day when we all get to heaven an can be together once again.

  6. I remember Spencer as a Sunday School teacher with a wonderful attitude about serving the Lord and witnessing for Him. He had a great sense of humor, and was fun to be around. I remember one story he told about going to a corner store late at night, where there was a young lady working alone at the counter. He bought something, walked out, and then his heart smote him and he thought ‘You know, I need to witness to her.’ He went back in, and said ‘If you were to die tonight, do you know for sure you’d go to Heaven?’ The terrified look on her face taught him a lesson which he passed on to us – ‘Be aware of the situation and careful what you say when you witness to someone!’ He will be missed for but a short time, because we’ll be with him again soon, in Heaven with the Lord forever! May this thought bring great comfort to you, Betty and Lori, as I know it already has. I know God will be your comfort and stay during this time of sadness, and yet a time of consolation as well as we are ‘looking for that blessed Hope’… Randy and Lori Hostettler

  7. Uncle Spencer was a father figure and always a person I looked up to when I was a kid growing up. I treasure the weekends I got to spend at his and Aunt Betty’s house. He was a family man, a Christian, and one of the best people God has ever put on this earth. He taught me how to shoot and took me fishing. I remember wrestling with him in the living room and knocking over Aunt Betty’s plants. She was so mad at us. He would take me and my friend Rick Webb to the Brickyard every year for qualifications. One year Rick and I were throwing peanuts on the people below us and a guy came up to yell at us. Uncle Spencer asked us if we did it and we both said no. He told the guy we didn’t do it, and after the guy left Spencer looked at both of us and said ‘you boys quit throwing peanuts down there’. I will never forget that. Later when we would go back to Indiana on vacation Spencer and I would play golf. I love you uncle Spencer. Thank you for everything you did for me when I was a kid growing up. I still have a hard time believing he’s gone. I wish I would have called him more often. I pray God give Aunt Betty and Lori the strength to get through this difficult time. God Bless. Dennis Ingram.
