Stella Lenora Green

Stella Lenora (Reed) Green, 79, of Terre Haute, passed away December 30, 2019. Stella was born November 1, 1940, in Indiana Harbor, to the late Lloyd and Beulah (Connelly) Reed. She married the love of her life, Michael Green on July 27, 1985.
Stella worked for Thomas and Betts as a secretary retiring in 1985. She received a volunteering award from the Roberts Park United Methodist Church. Stella enjoyed mystery shows, cooking, and baking, but most of all spending time with her family especially her nieces and nephews. She is going to be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Harold, Jeanette Harlow, William, Raymond, and Robert Reed.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Michael Green, a sister, Ruby Jane Palmer, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, 1-2 p.m., January 3, 2020 at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Service will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. One of my very first memories is of Aunt Stella and Uncle Mike coming to visit us out in AZ and they took us to Old Tucson and I remember riding the carousel and bumper cars. There was an old train ride that would simulate a train robery from years ago like in old western movies. When I told her about this memory she said I must have been maybe 3 yrs old she couldn’t believe I remembered that. I hold all our times together really close to my heart, love and will miss you dearly.
