Suzanne (Koch) Winter

80, of Mooresville, went to be with her Lord on December 4, 2017, surrounded by her family. Suzanne was born on March 1, 1937 in St Louis, MO to the late Al Koch and Helen (Jutzi) Koch.

Suzanne confessed her faith to her Lord at a young age and was a faithful member of the Plainfield Christian Church. She was united in marriage with the love of her life, Woodie Winter on August 31, 1956 and recently celebrated 61 years of marriage together!

Left to cherish her memory is her husband; Woodie Winter, son; Michael (Rhonda) Winter, daughter; Brenda (Ken) Wagener, a granddaughter; Libby Wagener, brother in law; Wayne (Anna Maria) Winter and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday Dec.7th from 4-8pm at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Additional visitation will be held Friday Dec. 8th from 12noon until the funeral services at 1:00pm, conducted by Rev. Steve White at the Plainfield Christian Church. Burial will follow the services in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Plainfield Christian Church, 800 Dan Jones Rd. Plainfield, IN 46168 or to the Samaritan’s Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC, 28607.

  3. Tony and I only have good memories of Suzanne as we represented Woodie & her when they had their patio home built at Lakeside Commons. I will always remember her as being kind & genuine. Our sincere sympathy & prayers to Woodie, Mike & Rhonda, & the rest of the family.
