Terry Ray Turley, 61, Bloomington, died August 19, 2015, in IU Health, Bloomington. Terry was born May 18, 1954, in Indianapolis, to Bill Turley and Fletitia L. (Dobbins) Downs, who survive.
Terry graduated from Edgewood High School in Ellettsville and had been a resident of Bloomington for many years. Terry enjoyed all kinds of music and was a talented musician. His hobbies included tinkering with electronics, fixing up antiques, and anything to do with airplanes. Terry will be missed by a loving family and many friends.
Survivors include his children, Ezra Robinson of Bloomington and Ashley Callahan of Bloomington; mother and step-father, Fletitia and Carl Downs of Indianapolis; father and step-mother, Bill and Betty Turley of Florida; sisters, Victoria Carter of Mooresville and Teresa Mundy of Bloomington; step-brother, Carl Downs, III of Indianapolis; step-sister, Melissa Wetmore of North Carolina.
Friends and family will gather Tuesday, August 25, 2015, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. A memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. Visit www.CarlisleBranson.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.

My brother, Terry. At our family farm in Mooresville. Jammin with Dad, Uncle Jerry, Mawaw and family friends at our families 4th of July pig-out! 1998, I think. I know you’re rockin in heaven bro! You met Mawaw there. I’m sure you both have been entertaining everyone up there! Dad’s with you now and I know you’re both jammin together again! With Mamaw too! Keep on playin’ and give dad and Mawaw a great big hug for me. Oh, and our older brother, Larry too! He just joined you guys in October, 2018. Dad’s 1st anniversary in heaven is this Jan 9th, 2018.
