Thomas Allen McKinney, 73, passed peacefully at his home in Eminence, IN on October 10, 2025.  He was born in Belleville, IN on October 1, 1952 to the late Thomas and Evelyn McKinney.

Tom retired from Marsh supermarkets, many years ago, as an over the road truck driver.  Tom never let the grass grow under his feet; he spent his retirement doing things he loved. He was an avid craftsman in woodworking and could fix literally anything!  Tom’s best time spent was with the love of his, Betty, where it was obvious he was happy all the way down to his soul.  Tom also spent a great amount of time with his family, kids, and grandkids over the years making many unforgettable memories.  Tom was an amazing son, brother, dad, papaw, husband, uncle, and friend to many and his absence will leave a massive void in the lives of his loved ones.

He is survived by his wife, Betty McKinney; daughters, Erika McKinney and Lori (James) Crumpton; son, Matt McKinney; grandchildren, Tyler (Josie) Lopossa, Ben (Katarina) Lopossa, Hannah McKinney, Caleb McKinney, Ciara (James) Anglemyer, Chris Crumpton, Kyle (Aaliyah) Crumpton; sisters, Linda (Bill) Withrow and Deborah (Denzil) Shuler; brother, David McKinney; nephew, Jake (Dana) Fugate;  great niece and nephew, Laney and Jacob Fugate, along with many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Evelyn McKinney; his son, Brad McKinney; his sister, Joyce Fugate; his brother, Bobby Sumners.
