Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I have many wonderful memories of Tom from the Church of God. I will never forget his smile & wonderful voice. Gods choir is now richer. I know Dad & Mom will rejoice when they meet you there. Teresa (Boone) Duncan

  2. The thing about Tom I recollect was his laugh. He had a great sense of humor and very deliberate when he spoke. He mentored me into the Sunday School Superintendent position. Really enjoyed his singing. His whole body sang to the Lord when he did. Never will forget his trials and tribulations for driving his VW to work. He spoke of it very good naturedly (probably NOT a word) but he undaunted.

  3. Tom was the most young at heart man that I had the honor of knowing. What amazed me the most about him is that he was enthused about everything in life. No matter how many times he saw something when he saw it again it was like the first time he saw it. He reminded me of a young boy that saw things for the first time and was fasinated by what he saw and his enthusiasm infectd others around him Tom was a gentle and loving man that never met a stranger. I will always cherish the time I had with him and loved touring him around Florida when he came down for visits. He never tired of learning and sharing his knowledge with others. He was a very humble and wise man and knew and loved his God.. Tom, I will miss you and your smile very much but Thankfully you will live in my heart forever.

  4. I have so many wonderful memories of my Uncle Tom chasing cows on his farm fighting over who is going to open the gate and of course he had the best sledding hills in Indiana I will miss the countless hours I had just being in his presence hanging around the farm feeding the cows just spending time with my uncle. I will miss you very much and I loved you very much some of my greatest memories are of you in that house upon the hill with the cows in the pastures and the swing on the tree! Rest in peace Uncle Tom I love you.

  5. My childhood was blessed because the Walker family was such a part of it! I will always remember cook outs at the farm with the Church of God youth group, the friendship my dad had with Tom and Ruby, and the love they showed my entire family, including my grandmother! Tom was a wonderful, Godly man with a beautiful smile and voice and a huge, loving heart. Trisha (Yates) Allen
