Tyler Raymond Pinkley
23, of Bloomington, passed away on July 5, 2025. Tyler was born on November 30, 2001, in St. Peters, Missouri.

Tyler was a beautiful soul that was taken from us way too soon. He enjoyed drawing, tattooing, playing video games, exploring unique places, fast cars, and cooking. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Tyler was a hard worker, working in the restaurant business since he was 16, working his way up to general manager of Taco Bell on the south side of Bloomington. He will be remembered for his fun-loving free spirit, sometimes a prankster, who was very generous, and would help anyone in need.

He is survived by his mother Cynthia (Billy Howard) Swackhammer; daughter Evelyn Gross; fiancé Anastasia Gross; sister Anastasia Pinkley; brothers Lucas Pinkley, Nikolas (Victoria) Gray; grandparents Ronald and Shelly Swackhammer, as well as another child on the way and many aunts, uncles and cousins, who will all miss him dearly.

Family and friends will gather in celebration of Tyler’s life on Monday, July 14th from 4-8pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Services will be held on Tuesday, July 15th at 10am in the funeral home. In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated following the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tyler’s memory to a fund that is being set up for his children, through the First Citizens National Bank, 7580 US-70, Bartlett, TN 38133. https://www.firstcnb.com/Bartlett

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I mostly remember Tyler in his younger years and he was a fun loving person. As time went by he grew to be a wonderful young man and so proud to be a Dad. He is loved and remembered by a lot of people just by being himself. We love you, Tyler.

  2. There’s way too many good memories but, you, haley, and I staying up way too late when we were kids at grandpa and grandpas goofing around in the kitchen when we weren’t supposed to be.

  3. We will miss his big smile and his warm hugs. My heart breaks for him. You will be missed greatly Tyler!

  4. You were my best friend and my brother. I can’t wait for the day we come back together. I love you so much Tyler

  8. You are beyond missed Tyler, no matter how much you would disagree with me you were extremely successful, and I want you to know that. Continue to look over your little ones. ✨️

  9. Gonna miss all the silly shenanigans you used to get up to, and getting Logan all riled up. You are so so missed. Rest easy Tyler. Watch over them babies and your wife ♡ till we all meet again

  10. What a gentle soul. Every time he joined the Discord, he never failed to make everybody laugh. ANY time I saw him in the hallways at school, there was never a time he didn’t have a warm smile on his face …NEVERRRR. It pleased him to know he made somebody’s day, and he would go out of his way any time to do so. Death is nothing else but going home to God, the bond of love will be unbroken for all eternity.
The song has ended, but the melody lingers on..

  11. For a time, Tyler was like the brother I never had. I’ll always remember him for being very caring and generous, as well as super passionate about things he enjoyed. He was the type of person to stand ten toes behind those he loved, and stick up for those who couldn’t defend themselves. I rarely saw him sad, he always had a smile on his face. I’m grateful to have known him, and he was truly taken too soon. But I take comfort in knowing he’s in a better place now — looking down, watching over, and protecting his family and loved ones. Rest in Paradise.

  12. You were legitimately my brother from another mother . You showed me parts of life that I will never forget . The memories I had with you are some of the best moments of my life . You were such a strong minded , confident, caring individual. You showed me what family really means and I promise you I will never forget that . You’ll forever be with me Tyler . I love ya buddy

  13. I’m always going to miss you brother. You always lit up the room whenever you walked through the door. Your attitude and work ethic were unrivaled and I’m so sad to see you gone. I’ll always remember the laughs we had and stories we shared about our past. I hope you’re doing well up there man.

  14. We are so sorry for your loss. Our love and continued prayers are with your family in this time of loss and pain. -Little Feet Academy Franklin (Laura Jones’ work family)

  15. I’m sorry we got distant man I can’t stop thinkin abt it. Just feel like I could’ve been a better friend like you were to me bro. I’ll never forget all the memories and amazing times we had. No matter what you’d always be there for a friend and stand up for us. And you kept it real all the time no matter what. I’ll never forget how good of a friend you were and all the times you were there for me when I needed it. I love you Tyler and I hope you know that man❤️
