Jinny was the best friend anyone could ever hope for. She had such a big heart and gave her love and energy helping others. And believe me she had a lot of it. She shared her love of God with anyone her life touched. She kept in touch and wanted to know how everyone was doing. Her cards to others were filled with notes of love and encouragement to those in need. She remembered birthdays, anniversaries, thank you cards, sympathy, get well etc. She had the most beautiful penmanship. We spent many times doing ceramics, crafts, bazaars, Share Food distribution, calling on shut-ins, laughing together and also crying together. We were completely open with one another and we will always be sisters in Christ. I am not saying, ‘Good Bye’; I’m saying, ‘So long for now, see ya later. Save a place for me’, my dear and precious earthly angel now with our Heavenly Father and the with all the other heavenly angels. Your sis in Christ, Mary
I worked at Jinny’s bank and assisted her many times through the last few years. She was always so sweet to deal with and I always looked forward to seeing her. Chatting with her was always a highlight of my day. I know she will be greatly missed. —Terri Moore
Where to start. I met Jinny around 1962 or so. She was the mother of 3 great sons, one of which was one of my best friends. David and I managed to get into and out of lots of trouble during the high school years, but Jinny always managed to handle the problems well. After getting a little older, I didn’t see as much of the boys or Jinny, but as luck would have it, about 20 years ago I found out she was living across the street from me. We had lots of enjoyable conversations over the last 20 years. She will be missed, but I feel lucky to have known her.
Jinny was the most beautiful person I have ever known (inside and out)! I met her 32 years ago at First Christian Church when my children were young and she has been a very dear friend ever since. I will never forget our fun, 3 hours lunches, (Jinny, Mary Rader and myself). Her faith kept her strong! Jinny, my sweet friend, you will forever have a place in my heart! Eileen Jones
