
William E. “Bill” Ford
78, of Mooresville passed away on March 6, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Bill was born on October 1, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Earl J. and Cora (Logue) Ford.
Bill proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam. Upon returning home, he worked as a surveyor for Indianapolis Power and Light for 32 years, before retiring. An avid outdoorsman, Bill loved being outside fishing, hunting as well as woodworking and cheering on the Indianapolis Colts. He was a member of the Lilly Bass Club and the American Legion Post #103 and VFW Post #1111 for many years. He will be remembered for his straightforward personality as well as his big heart for helping others.
He is survived by a daughter, Tina Farmer; a stepson Marty Broderick; three grandchildren, as well as a host of friends and neighbors around Mooresville.
Family and friends will gather in celebration of Bill’s life on Friday, March 14th from 1:00pm- 3:00pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with funeral services beginning at 3:00pm Friday in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services with military honors at White Lick Cemetery.
