William Edgar Hines

William E. “Bill” Hines, 73 of Mooresville, passed away the evening of August 10, 2016 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Mooresville. He was born August 10, 1943 in Indianapolis to the late Edgar L. and Letha G. (Foxworthy) Hines. In 1975 Bill was united in marriage to his loving wife, Glenda K. (Rodgers) Hines; she survives.
A man of all trades, Bill enjoyed working on cars, building hot rods, drag racing, and most recently enjoyed his work at Echo Lake where he took care of the cable lines and waste water treatment.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Deanda M. Hines and two sisters, Margie Head and Katherine Likens.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Glenda; son, Jarrod W. (Jessica) Hines of Coatesville, his sister, Judy Jines of Wanamaker; four grandchildren, Katie and Collin Hines, Heather Grogg-Smith and Matthew Anthis and two great grandchildren, Kiersa and Deanda.
There will be no calling and the services for Bill will be private. Final care and arrangements were entrusted to Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. William Edgar Hines will forever have touched so many lives in a beautiful way. I will always miss him and forever hold him in my heart. He is truly the greatest man I will ever know. Rip dad hug everyone in heaven for me. We will see you again.






Glenda and family, We are so sorry to hear about Bill. I was honored to get to work with him at Echo Lake. He was a good worker and became a good friend. You could always count on his grin . You and your family are in our prayers.
Hi Glenda so sorry to hear about Bill didn’t even know he was sick until a couple days ago. I didn’t know Bill very well he always seemed to be quite but he always had a great smile. I want u to know my heart is with u and your son. I love u very muck if there is anything I can do for u just call me u are a great lady. God will be with u and he will never leave u just hold his hand.
