Yvonne Hendricks

Yvonne Hendricks, 63, Indianapolis, died peacefully at home October 28, 2014. Yvonne was born February 23, 1951, in Harlan, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Flonnie (Taylor) Cowans.

She worked for Hoosier Gasket, Clark Gas Station and as a clerk for Kroger for a period of time. Mrs. Hendricks loved to fish and also enjoyed crocheting. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Laura Marie Hendricks; brothers, Jack and Wayne Cowans.

Survivors include her husband, Hubert Hendricks; children, Hubert Hendricks (Joyce) of Indianapolis and Angela Moore (Mike) of Monrovia; siblings, Arthur Cowans of Indianapolis, Raymond Cowans of Kentucky, Kenny Cowans of Indianapolis, Mary Miracle of Kentucky, and Payton Cowans of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; many great grandchildren.

The funeral service will begin at 12 Noon, Saturday, November 1, 2014, in the chapel at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Friends may call Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service time. Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
