Fred Soskel

Fred Soskel, 76, of Indianapolis passed away on April 19, 2023 in Indianapolis, IN. Fred was born on June 18, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Benjamin and Katie (Cohn) Soskel.

Technology was Fred's passion. He was an IT professional for many years and along with his partner started an IT business, Soskel Ingram, which operated successfully for 19 years. Additionally he was a landlord in Bloomington, IN, providing quality student housing for many IU students for over 30 years.

Fred enjoyed photography and flying. He was a friend to many and a natural teacher.

He is survived by his daughter Patti Hammerle and her husband Jon, and 2 grandchildren Matthew and Adam.

Graveside services were held on Friday, April 21st in Sharon Gardens, Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.

To honor the life of Fred Soskel a gathering will be held on May 18th from 2 to 4 at 5 EAST, 5 East Main Street, Mooresville, Indiana.
