Plainfield, Indiana – Michael Richardson, of Plainfield, passed away at his home Thursday evening. Born to Virginia Richardson in Martinsville, Indiana on August 25, 1943. He was 79 years old.
Michael was a graduate of Mooresville High School and went on to work as a butcher in the towns of Avon and Plainfield for many years. He moved on to become a manager at a local meat processing facility.
His real passion though was for antiques and the history of objects. He opened Hoosier Boy Antiques in Plainfield which he ran for many years. Those who knew Michael knew how much he loved finding a unique antique. When he wasn’t working, Michael spent as much time as he could in keep his yard as meticulously as possible.
In addition to his mother Michael is preceded in death by his daughters Regina Deppert and Lisa Rollison and wife Bonnie Richardson.
Michael is survived by his daughter Kimberly Barley; grandchildren Aron Deppert and Ashley Uhlir; and great grandchildren Emilynn Uhlir.
Michael’s services will be private by his request.
