Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I had the great pleasure of working with Senator Mills occasionally, but every instance was a learning experience. Even though we were from opposite sides of the political fence that was never an issue as we both focused on addressing the issue at hand. My sincere condolences to his family but knowing that he led an extremely successful life does provide some comfort.

  2. Fred and family all: Your father’s integrity and grasp of issues is and will be unequaled in the General Assembly. We acknowledge your loss and the void he leaves in your hearts-in your family. I’m blessed to call him my friend as well as colleague. Sincerely, Ralph

  3. It was an honor to serve in the State Senate with Sen. Mills. He was a quiet force for justice and equity. I held him in High Esteem.

  4. Morris was a straight shooter always answered my questions, but it was up to me to ask the right questions.

  5. Morris Mills served his country and his state. He contributed to Montgomery County when he, his wife and some of his family moved here. I always gained insights when talking with him at Kiwanis. He deeply loved his family. May his memory be a blessing.

  6. I am so sorry for your loss. I never knew Morris but was Mary Ann’s hairdresser for years so she would sometimes mention him in our conversations. Please tell her I am sorry and I think of her and others from the beauty shop at times.

  7. Senator Mills was a mentor & friend to me. He taught me a great deal for which I will always be thankful. My sincere condolences to Mary Ann, Fred & the rest of the family. John Whitaker

  8. Thoughts and prayers for the family in the loss of Morris. Has been a pleasure to service him and family over the years.
