I met Dick at Morgan’s Cafe only a couple of years ago. He had this mischievous twinkle in his eyes and we exchanged a joking remark to each other. We immediately became friends. I will miss his quick wit and humor. We always shared a laugh about something when we saw each other.
God speed Dick.
Rest in peace brother.
The first time I met Dick, he insisted on taking me to lunch. You would think that we had known each other forever. He loved showing me his tools and gave me one of his relics. On another rare trip back to Indiana, Dick loaned me his golf clubs. After a HS reunion picnic, Dick invited me to his and Kay’s house to visit for a while. I declined because of other commitments – a decision that I have always regretted. God bless Dick Horner and his family.
