Janet G. Kirk
77, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on April 28, 2019 at Hendricks Regional Health, surrounded by her family. Janet was born on August 4, 1941 in Burbank, CA to the late Lloyd and Mary (McClure) Dunbar.
Janet worked as an accounts payable specialist for auto dealerships in Dugger and later for IUPUI, before retiring. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mooresville. In her spare time, she enjoyed going out to eat and visiting with friends as well as doing crafts and sewing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband James Kirk.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Geoff Kirk and his wife Sonia; sister Anita Chamberlain; brother Steve Dunbar and a granddaughter Ashlee Kirk-Ellison.
A memorial service will be held Saturday May 11th at 2:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Mooresville 131 Robb Hill Rd, Martinsville, IN 46151.
Final arrangements and cremation are entrusted to Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, IN.

My family and Janet’s family have known each other for years. My dad and Jim were musicians together and many a night was spent listening to the guys play and the women laugh. Janet had a wonderful laugh which I can still hear to this day as I think about all those late nights. Jim and Janet both were wonderful people and all the memories I have I shall cherish forever.
