I was sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. He was a good friend to David and a part of my life as far back as I can remember. Heartfelt condolences to Erma and the rest of the family. He can rest in peace now.
A man of integrity, man of his word, a blessing to all whose paths crossed his, Jim will be greatly missed by our entire community. Jim enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. I will always have a vision of Jim, fast-paced, white tennis shoes, scooter riding, wonderful man coming to the aid of anyone in need. His tag line for his Locksmith business was so catchy!”If you get locked out, running short on time – 831-0909″
Thank you for your memories, thank you for your kindness, your genuine love for the world and those around you, Jim!
To dear Erma and family, we all will miss Jim’s ‘earthly presence’, your arms will ache to hug him, your ears will miss his voice, your heart breaks and feels empty, but you have so many, many friends who are sending you prayers of comfort and strength and the knowledge that one day, we will all be reunited for eternity in Heaven.
My heartfelt condolences.

Cindy and Brian, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember growing up your Dad used to ride his Vespa all over town – and I saw him riding up until a couple of summers ago. My deepest sympathies for all of those that knew and loved him.

I’m so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I always called him Izzy’s dad. He loved coming by our home to visit with her. I always enjoyed seeing him in town and talking horses. Last time I ran into him was at the early voting in November. He will be missed.
So sorry to learn about Jimmy’s passing. He was a great friend to all of us and was really good to our Mom whenever she needed anything. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers….

My favorite memory of Jim was playing golf with him. Jim was competitive on every hole we played, no matter what he was shooting or what I was shooting. If we were close in scoring on the final hole, Jim always hit his best shots on that hole. In that situation, Jim’s intensity brought out the best in both of us. Win or lose on the final hole, Jim was always the perfect gentlemen.

Erma: We were so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. We will always remember his thoughtfulness toward our son when he was going through such a rough time in his life. Jim played a role in our move to Indiana from New York state, now 34 years ago. Whenever we saw you and Jim, he always greeted us with a smile and well wishes. He will be missed in the town and by his friends and family.
