Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Rouke and I worked together at Ford on the Old Iron Horse when he (Rouke) first hired in at Ford. I grew very fond of Rouke. Rouke had many good qualities and being a friend of his was an honor. I also worked for his father, Dave, when I first hired in at Ford. To the entire Harper family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I will always cherrish Rouke’s friendship. Ray ‘Red’ Roberts

  2. Rouke was my cousin and I have fond memories of our families getting together where us four girls and Rouke and Rusty would play and run around; we’d all go to Zayre and Burger Chef with the mom’s (Sue and Elaine Harper) and have great fun. Our dads (Ted and David Harper) would work on cars and eventually as they got older, Rouke and Rusty would join in by handing tools to the dads, and eventually began working on and tweeking their own cars. (I’m pretty sure that’s when us girls got bored and went on to do more ‘girly’ things). Anyway, Rouke was a super nice guy and I am sad to hear of his passing. I was glad to have known him. I pray that God will give His comfort to everyone in the family.

  3. Rouke was my sweet nephew. He was always loving and sharing even as a child. I believe he was proud working at Ford and following his father, David, and my husband, his Uncle Ted. …lots of Ford stories there! He loved his family greatly. With much love and sympathy, Aunt Elaine

  4. Ran around with Rouke during high school. He was a great friend. I have not seen him for years but I knew he was married and lived on the south side of Indy. I have a picture of him at my wedding in 1978. I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m sure he was a great family man. Cheryl Garrett – Weir
