  3. Carol Ann, I always thought your mom was one of the prettiest women I had ever known. I remember so many times coming to your house and walking down that little path from your dad’s garage to the house. She always made me feel welcome and always wanted me to stay and eat. I also remember how mom didn’t want me to go to the woods and Frances would let us go and then she would always check to make sure I didn’t get any ticks before going home because she knew mom would be mad. She was a great lady and you were blessed to have her this long. She is probably up in heaven swapping stories with my mom right now..I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers..

  11. Just read about Francis passing and thinking back on meeting her and son in Belton, Texas in 2009. She was the sweetest thing. We still have the doll that my daughter, Moriah, had her sign the night of the premier of the Dillenger documentary.

  12. I worked for the Indiana State Police in the early 1960’s as a radio clerk while I attended IU in Bloomington. I believe, at that time, Ethel Dillinger (sister to john) and John’s brother both worked for the Indiana State Police! Ethel was secretary to the Superintendent, and John’s brother (don’t know his first name) was a mechanic in the ISP garage.
