Margaret Ketcherside, 76, died suddenly at home on her birthday, January 3, 2015. Margaret was born January 3, 1939, in Beech Grove, to the late Harold C. and Louise Hawkins.
Margaret worked for 25 years as a Certified Nurse Assistant while she lived in California. She enjoyed reading, watching court television programs, and shopping at the Dollar Tree. Above all, Margaret enjoyed her family and spending time with her beloved Chihuahua, Baby. She also had a special fondness for her two stuffed bears, Teddy and Rosie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Harold Tracy Huber.
Survivors include children, Randall Huber of Indianapolis, Jeffrey Joe Huber of Indianapolis, and Lori Berrios of Seattle, Washington; brothers, Russell Hawkins of Mooresville, Raymond Hawkins of Indianapolis; sisters, Linda Kennemore of Indianapolis, Sharon Dykes of Mooresville, and Shawneka Hawk of Attica; grandchildren, John Milburn, Crystal Sanders, Tami Huber, Ivan Gonzalez, Randall Huber, Jr., Ryan Kretchmer, Jessie Kretchmer, Susan Stephenson, Chris Cady, and Trina Huber; great grandchildren, Bryanna Huber, Jimmy Sanders, Cynthia Huber, Anthony Stephenson, and Carlie Deal.
The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2015, in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 12 Noon. My big sissy, thank you for all the great memories, rest in peace now Polly. One thing I do know is she loved each and everyone of her children, grandchildren were the apple of her eyes, and loved her great grandchildren. She loved Teddy Bears, loved to read as do I we were book worms like our Father. Me and Margaret were a lot alike, have a peaceful journey sissy, I love you . Heaven has a new Angel.
