Margaret D. Cook

Margaret D. Cook, age 91, of Mooresville, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014. Born September 6, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe V. and Minnetta H. (Spitz) Wise. Her husband, Bernard Cook, preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Wise and her sister, Marrian Walls.
Margaret was a homemaker and member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Ronald Cook, Shelia Western, Sandra Keller and Marcia Thompson; her brother, Jack Wise; her sisters, Judy Walls and Donna Kindig; and her 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Friends may call Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Terry Crist at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in the funeral home, with burial in the White Lick Cemetery.

My prayers are with the whole Western family.
We will miss you dear Margaret. Our hearts are heavy for all of your family and friends. I know Margaret is in God’s loving arms in all of heaven’s Glory, but is still so difficult missing her. Sending up prayers of comfort and strength. Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help.
