Sandra S. Kessler, 74, Columbus, died August 7, 2014, after a battle with ovarian cancer. Sandra was born July 28, 1940, in Indianapolis, to the late Robert M. and Mary Elizabeth (Jackson) Burns.

Having lived in New York, Illinois, Florida, and most recently Columbus, she was a talented crafter who enjoyed painting, hobby shows, and caring for her dogs. While in Florida, she was the owner and operator of Cobblestone Crafters. An excellent cook, she always enjoyed family cookouts and all kinds of delicious Italian cuisine. She will be missed by her loving family and loving friends.

Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Warnsholz (Heath) of Columbus and Theresa Spears (Robert) of Camby; brother, Richard R. Burns of California; sister, Betsy Clark of California; five grandchildren, Dallas and Cheyenne Warnsholz; Cassandra, Deanndra, and Dean Spears.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Sandra Kessler will begin at 4 p.m., Sunday, August 17, 2014, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbus Cancer Center.   5. There are special Angels that Heaven sends – we call them Friends. I met Sandra in 2006 working at Sams Club in Columbus and developed a special friendship. She will surely be missed by many, especially by my husband and myself. Ernie and I prayed daily for Sandra, and now for her family who has lost a very speial person. Ernie and Joyce Lariviere
