Guestbook

  1. Aleda was a very sweet lady. She and Smitty were a couple who were definitely made for each other. I remember her from when she taught with my mother in Elkhart and also from when she taught at the prison. She was classy and loved to laugh. Smitty made sure that she got to laugh plenty. Please pass my sincere condolences to her family. Dwight Franklin

  2. Aunt Aleda Gail! What a delightful lady! She was so remarkable to me in her adult life! She raised two beautiful, intelligent & talented children. Was a very hands on mom & then went back to college and finished her masters degree in education. She was gentle spirited, soft, absolutely one of the most godly and sweet people I’ve ever known. I’m married to her sister Glendale Bloodworth Pate’s sons and Aunt Aleda was adored by her big sister & the delight of her dad. Susan Pate

  3. Our sympathies to Sharla Decker, Steve Smith and all who knew and loved Aleda. We will all miss Aleda, a wonderful woman who lived a beautiful life.
