Anthony “Scott” Hines

October 28, 1968 ~ June 13, 2026

Born in: Marion, Indiana
Resided in: Mooresville, Indiana

Anthony Scott Hines, 57, of Mooresville, after a strong and courageous battle, left this earthly world to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, June 13, 2026 with family at his side. He was born in Marion, IN to the late Jimmy Lee Hines and Elizabeth Ruby (Hall) Hines on October 28, 1968. Scott lived a full life marked by dedication, hard work, and an unwavering love for his family.

Scott graduated from Mooresville High School with the class of 1987. As a skilled framer and the proud owner of Hines Construction, Scott built more than just homes. He constructed a legacy of commitment and integrity, starting his journey in the construction industry under the guidance of his father-in-law with his company, Frame Bo Construction, before bravely branching out on his own. His fellow workers and clients admired him not only for his craftsmanship but also for his quiet strength and kind demeanor.

Family was the cornerstone of Scott’s life. He married his loving wife, Regina “Boheni” Marie Henson, on December 2, 1989. He adored his wife and cherished every moment spent with their children and grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride. Though he often expressed himself in few words, his actions spoke volumes – his love resonated deeply in the hearts of those blessed enough to know him.

He was a quiet man whose gentle spirit touched everyone around him, leading them to admire his steadfast nature and profound dedication.

He will be deeply missed by many including his wife, Boheni Hines of Mooresville; daughter, Kiersten Hines (fiance, Ben) of Mooresville; sons, Dylan (wife, Abby) Hines of Mooresville and Jesse (wife, Cheyenne) Hines of Martinsville; brother, Jimmy Lee Hines Jr. of Mooresville; sister, Robin Kaye (husband, Brian) Cheek of Decatur; and grandchildren, Ezra, Micah, Isaac, Tristan, Charli, Beau, and (soon to make her arrival) Penny.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Elizabeth Hines; and brother, Chris Hines.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, June 19th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Scott’s Life Celebration Service will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 20th at the funeral home, with Preacher Jim Brown officiating. He will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.

  1. Gonna miss you my friend. We shared a lot of great memories. I’m glad we spent time together and I’ll never forget any of our endeavors. I’m really going to miss my best buddy. I’ve became close to your entire family and love them like my own. I love you brother and will see you again in heaven.

  2. Scott,
You was the best family man any family could ever ask for. Your family are very special. I had the privilege of coaching with you and we had a great time doing it with our boys. Buddy you frames alot of house’s for me and was always done an awesome job.
Brother you will be missed for sure. But I know your your family will continue your legacy.
    Love ya brother.

  3. I’ll never forget you giving me some work and all the nights Dylan and I probably kept you up at night. I ended up catching a piece of plywood to the head from the roof one day on your job site. Dylan helped me super glue me head back together 😂 and you came up to me and asked if I needed to go to the hospital. I was like nah I’m good. You said, “if it was me, I wouldn’t go either, but I’m stupid”.😂 You’ll be missed

  4. I love you daddy.
I can hear you saying to me “Cheer up girl.” I will do my best to always make you proud. I can’t wait to hug you again.
You’re forever the biggest chunk of my heart.

  5. Gonna miss see you on site. Has always been a pleasure working with you. Always willing to help. Such great work ethics. You’ve done a great job passing those on. We’ve become good friends over the year’s working side by side. See you on the other side brother! Prayers!!!
