Arcella Allsup

Arcella Allsup, 77, Mooresville, passed away January 10, 2021. Arcella was born September 15, 1943 in Moss, Tennessee, to the late Raymond and Nettie (Hix) McLerran.

Arcella was a member of Chapel Rock Chrisitian Church and also attended Mt Gilead. Arcella drove a school bus for 19 years for Mooresville Consolidated Schools. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She enjoyed gardening, bingo, casino slot machines, cooking, and playing euchre. The biggest enjoyment she got out of life was spending time with her family. Arcella is going to be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester; sons, Marvin and Edwin Allsup, and sister, Shirley Woodrum.

Survivors include her children, Leslie (Craig) Smith and Jeffrey (Angela) Allsup; siblings, Coell, and Duane McLerran; grandchildren, Justin Allsup, Tiffany Morehouse, Amanda Stephenson, and Laura Davis; great grandchildren, Kayla, Taylor, Kelsee, Brennan, Haylee, Shaylee, Exavier, Elijah, Easton, Emya, Meadow, Colton; and one great grandson, Wyatt.

Friends and family will gather to remember the life of Arcella Allsup on Saturday, January 16, 2021, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory: 39 E. High Street, Mooresville, Indiana 46158. The funeral service will be private on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 12:30 p.m. The funeral will be live streamed by visiting Carlisle - Branson Facebook page for all guest to watch. All guests attending visitation will be required to wear a mask at all times in an effort to promote a safe environment. Burial will follow at the Washington Park East Cemetery.
