Arthur “Artie” Pugh

60, of Mooresville, passed away June 23, 2018 at Methodist Hospital. Artie was born on March 31, 1958 in Martinsville, IN to Donald Pugh and Darlena K. (Derbyshire) Pugh.

A painter by trade, Artie owned and operated his own painting business, Roll On Painting. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW Post in Mooresville. A motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed spending time riding with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother; Darlena K. Pugh, wife, Catherine Pugh and a daughter Chrysti Leann Pugh Cook.

He is survived by his father; Donald (Wilma) Pugh, sister; Candy (Rick) Harrison, brother; Emmitt R. (Angela) Pugh, grandchildren; Olivia, Marijane, Jaycob Cook, niece; Rikki Phillips, nephew; Branson Pugh, stepsisters; Jennifer, Lori, stepbrother; Dennis and several step nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday from 2-8pm at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11am at the SpringHill Christian Center, 12150 N Rooker Rd. Mooresville. Burial will follow the services in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Artie’s memory to his family to assist in final expenses in care of Donald Pugh.

  3. I’ve known Artie all my life he was my very first friend. If you were a close friend to Artie it was for life. He was a loyal friend that I never ever heard him say anything bad about anyone. Loved you like a brother and a void is now in my life and heart with your passing. Rest in peace brother til we meet again.

  11. I am so sorry I missed the service. Just found out about Artie’s passing today. Artie always made me feel welcome and was always so much fun to be around. He was a friend to anyone he met. Such a wonderful man he will truly be missed.
