Audrey J. Hines, 96, Mooresville, died January 31, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor. Mrs. Hines was born February 28, 1915, in Knox County, Indiana, to the late Patrick and Ollie Mae (Street) Jones.
She was a proud homemaker and was an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed playing cards, fishing, and spending time at the Mooresville Senior Center. She will be missed by a very loving family.
Mrs. Hines was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hines; daughter, Anita McQueen; brother, George Jones; sister, Ruth Olsen.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy Perry (Don) of Mooresville; grandchildren, Debi Chekoff, Donnie Perry, and Jeanie Overton; great grandchildren, Brian, Kendra, and Adam Chekoff, Brandi Ramey, Nick Perry, Alicia Richhart, and Crystal Rogers; five great great grandchildren.
Friends and family will gather on Thursday, February 2, 2012, 4 to 8 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. A graveside service will be officiated by Pastor John Crump on Friday, February 3, 2012, 10 a.m., in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville. My Grandmother Audrey was also preceded by her Step Grandson David O’neil Patterson, survived by his wife Brenda Patterson Somerset Ky and their three boys Chad, Kory and Keith Patterson, and her great great grand daughter Kadence. Granny was also survived by her Step Grandson James Reece Patterson his wife Ruby Patterson Somerset Ky and their daughters Cherice and Heather. Debi Chekoff, grand daughter.
Oops… one more, Great great Grand Daughter Bryleigh, who is the Granddaughter of Reese and Ruby Patterson.
