Barbara R. Perry

Barbara R. (Decker) Perry, 83, Mooresville, passed away February 5, 2022. Barb was born August 3, 1938, in Urbana, Ohio, to the late Willard Perry and Martha (Nokes) Decker. She married Floyd Hubert Perry on March 29, 1970 and he survives.
Barb graduated from Urbana High School and retired from AT&T / Lucent Technologies. She also worked for a period of time for the Greater Mooresville Chamber of Commerce. Barb was musically inclined and was the staff pianist and later the organist at Town Center Church, formerly the Mooresville Church of God. She was a lifelong member of the Church of God. Barb was an avid sports fan and loved to watch college football, basketball, and an occasional baseball game. She also kept up with her community and friends by utilizing Facebook. Barb’s memory will be cherished by her loving family, friends, and church family.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Floyd Hubert Perry; sons, Chris and Ben (Iris) Perry; brothers, Gary, Dave, and Robert Decker; sister, Vanda Ludwig; granddaughter Alma Perry-Rosero; special friends and neighbors, Betty and Mary Lynn Leath.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 9, 2022, 3 to 6 p.m., at Town Center Church, 218 E. Main Street, Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the church. Burial will follow at Fairfield Friends Cemetery, Camby. I love you Aunt Barb, I barely remember a time without you in my life! You have always been such a big supporter to me and the rest of my family. You never missed a time to cheer us on or brag on us!
