  1. Jo, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. She was a wonderful woman and I know you are going to miss her as you have been through so much this past year. I am not going to be able to come and see her as I am just now getting over the flu and I don’t want to put anyone in danger of catching it but please know that you and the family are in my thoughts and prayers. The first thing that came across my mind today was the day that I popped into your house and borrowed your shoes so Jerry and I could elope. Good memories always pull us through…

  2. Our deepest sympathy to all Mrs.Short’s survivors. She is at peace with our Lord in heaven now & no longer has any earhly pain. Her loss is still felt deeply & will be for some time. Have peace knowing she is at peace now. Sincerely, Mary & Bill Thomas, Naples, FL

  3. My sympathy goes out to the Short family. Ida and Dolly, I am sorry I couldn’t make a personal visit to express my sympathy. Hope you and your family members will always remember the good times. Sharon Cooper Brown
