Beverly Jean Andersen, 79, Morgan County, died April 18, 2015, in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Mrs. Andersen was born June 11, 1935, in Omaha, Nebraska, to the late LeRoy and Opal (Wilt) Anderson.

She graduated from Benson High School (Nebraska) in 1953. Early on, she worked as a telephone operator. For many years, Beverly was employed at the Morgan County Bank & Trust and retired as a branch manager from Indiana National Bank. She had been a member of Crown Center Christian Church and had been the church organist there. Mrs. Andersen was an accomplished seamstress, enjoyed caring for her flowers, and crafting with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino and playing bingo. She will be dearly missed and forever celebrated by a loving family and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert H. Andersen, who died January 12, 2015; one brother, Jerry Anderson.

Survivors include children, Denise Griffin (Rodney) of Monrovia, Dane Andersen of Mooresville, David Andersen (Rhonda) of Quincy, and Deanna Monnin (Vince) of Arcanum, Ohio; grandchildren, Jerry, Jesse, Shelby, Taylor, Breegan, Will, Morgan, and Zoe; great grandchildren, Alex and Seth; brothers, Jim Anderson (Norma) of Omaha, Nebraska, Harold Anderson (Sue) of Johnson City, Nebraska, and Carl Anderson (Linda) of Custer, South Dakota; sister-in-law, Deanna Anderson; a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 23, 2015, in the chapel at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Interment will follow in Clayton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eminence Scholarship Fund, c/o The Community Foundation of Morgan County, 56 N.   1. What an amazing woman to do what she did for so many years. I sure will miss her smiling face in the bank. I know I was quite little, but one winter we were the only ones with power and Bev, Bob, and the whole crew came to stay warm and play games…what a great neighbor and memory I have.   3. I was so sad when I heard of Bev’s passing We have been friends for 75 years. So many memories we shared. We attended Kindergarten thru’ high school together. In each other’s wedding s– etc, etc. RIP DEAR FRIEND!!! Love You, Rosie
