Billy D. Nesbitt

Billy D. Nesbitt, 67, Indianapolis, died August 4, 2013, in the Emergency Room at IU West Hospital, Avon. Mr. Nesbitt was born August 10, 1945, in Mooresville, North Carolina, to William A. and Elsie (Murdock) Nesbitt, who survive.
Billy graduated from A.L. Brown High School in Kannapolis, North Carolina. He worked as a terminal manager for Transport Service in Lafayette, Indiana for 20 years, retiring in 2010. He was a member of the Kannapolis Methodist Church in North Carolina and enjoyed fishing. He will be missed by a loving family and many friends.
Survivors include his wife, Linda (Hampton) Nesbitt, to whom he was united in marriage in April of 1970; parents, William A. and Elsie (Murdock) Nesbitt; daughter, Alisha Clark (Jeremy) of Avon, Indiana; brother, Terry Nesbitt of Dallas, Texas; two grandchildren, Wyatt and Connor Clark.
Cremation will take place at the Morgan County Crematory, Mooresville, Indiana. A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2013, at Lady's Funeral Home, 268 N. Cannon Blvd., Kannapolis, North Carolina. Friends may call there from 5 p.m. on Friday. Additional information will be made available on Monday afternoon. He has been dearly missed here at Transport Service since he left and he will be missed here on earth. He would still call me and check up on me after he retired to see how I was doing. He was a very sweet person. I am sorry to hear that he has passed. Lots of prays go to his family in time of healing.
