I spent some childhood years in Bridgeport, Indiana with Steve as a buddy. Spent time in the Garland home and was always made to feel so welcome by this wonderful family. When my dad was transferred out of state I was devastated to have to leave all my wonderful friends behind. It was the Garland family who threw a surprise going away party for me. To this day that small gesture ranks as one of the kindest things anyone has ever done for me. See you in Heaven, Mr. Garland. Blessings to all the rest of the family. Jeff Shaw/Traverse City, Mi
