Bobbie Roe Stephens

Bobbie Roe Stephens, 86, Brooklyn, died May 10, 2012, in his residence. He was born January 19, 1926, in Upland, California, to the late Harrison and Ollie (Anderson) Stephens.

Bobbie worked at McLean Trucking in Indianapolis for over 25 years. He was a member of the Brooklyn Masonic Lodge No. 471.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Stephens; brothers, A.J. Stephens, Joe Stephens.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia (Willis) Stephens of Brooklyn, to whom he was united in marriage on August 12, 1950; daughter, Diana Stephens of Aurora, Illinois; daughter in law, Diana Stephens of Indianapolis; brother, Charles Stephens of Diaz, Arkansas; grandchildren, Joshua Stephens (Lindsey), Levi Stephens, Lexi Stephens; great grandson, Mason Stephens.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, May 14, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 11 a.m. Entombment will take place in Nebo Memorial Park, Martinsville.
