Bobby E. Maupin

Bobby E. Maupin, 72, Mooresville, died November 1, 2012. Mr. Maupin was born in Indianapolis on July 1, 1940, to the late George Washington and Lena Lillian (Barnet) Maupin.
Mr. Maupin was raised in Plainfield and graduated from Plainfield High School in 1958. He worked in management for Union Carbide for 25 years. Later, he was employed with Carter Construction through the FAA and Yellow Freight for 13 years. Bobby also enjoyed woodworking, traveling, and an occasional trip to the casino.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, George T. Maupin and Clayton W. Maupin.
Survivors include his wife, Anna (Robinson) Maupin, to whom he was united in marriage February 12, 1960; son, Robert Allen Maupin of Mooresville; daughter, Robin Ann DeArth (Steve Morse) of Plainfield; brother, Larry D. Maupin of Indianapolis; sisters, Maxine Carter of Avon, Pauletta Carlisle of Avon, Virginia Sue Brinson of Plainfield, Maida Jean Miller of Kokomo, and Betty Ann Suhre of Avon.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2012. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
