Brandon J. Lessmann, 27, Franklin, formerly of Mooresville, passed away on his 27th birthday, March 20, 2017, at IU Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Brandon was born March 20, 1990, in Germany, to Vern Lessmann and Sheryl A. (Nickelson) Bernloehr.

Brandon attended Mooresville High School and graduated from Edgewood High School. He worked for a period of time at Fort Knox in Kentucky and as a chimney sweep for Ye’Olde Chimney Sweep. Brandon was also a self-taught computer tech who enjoyed building and fixing all kinds of computers. Brandon enjoyed playing video games, skateboarding, playing his guitar, and always looked forward to adding his next tattoo.

Survivors include his parents, Sheryl Bernloehr of Greenwood. and Vern Lessmann (Leslie) of Kentucky; brothers, Zach Lessmann (Rachel) of Franklin, Matt Lessmann of Plainfield, Patrick Lessmann of Indianapolis; step-siblings, Logan Apple of Maine, Hannah Stephenson of Bedford, and Michael Turpin of Oolitic; grandmother, Sharon Brickey of Farmersburg; grandfather, Harry Nickelson of Illinois; girlfriend, Courtney Wilkerson of Bloomington; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins and many aunts and uncles.

The funeral service will begin at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2017, in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 5 p.m. Cremation will follow the service at the Morgan County Crematory. Every moment spent with him was special..from going camping with him and his brothers.. some of the best times we spent together, sitting for hrs in the dark and rain in Tiffanys car just me and you hobby just waiting for daylight with nothing to do but talk to each other, we didn’t even know what time it was we got flooded out of our tent..i remember when i first met you and when we first kissed we were both so nervous….to just sitting around playing video games or him letting me binge watch my favorite shows all night long even though he couldn’t stand them lol… he let very few people see how big his heart really was.. for the lucky ones who saw who he really was know how amazing it was to have him in our lives..he would have done anything for the ones he cared for…he was one of a kind.. I love you hobby more then anything in this world and I will miss you always so very much!!!

  5. I did not know you, but I heard of you, because your father always talked highly of his you when he was my manager. May you fly High in heaven and my deepest condolences to your family and friends. Only the good die young…. my mother in law used to say after her son passed that God needed another rose for his garden and sometimes he picks us a little sooner because he needed the most beautiful ones. Hey man you are my best friend I remember those times that we made it through High School maybe you would have cheated off of my test but I did it because we were best friends I went out to California and came back and when I was back you were still my best friend we caught some awesome fish hanging out with some people from our past and we made memories I miss you Brandon I always felt like we had a connection because our birthdays were so close within each other like eight days apart. And I would like you to know that I just had a little boy and we need him Kaisyn I wish you were here to see him we miss you as a family as a friend and as someone that I could always count on it didn’t matter how many years we spent in part but anytime I came back around you were always there I love you bro maybe someday we can meet in the middle Around Heaven love peace and chicken grease brother
