Brandon Michael Dorris

Brandon Michael Dorris, 26, Mooresville, died June 2, 2012. He was born March 11, 1986, in Beech Grove, Indiana, to Michael Dorris and Cindy Formica.

Brandon attended Pike High School in Indianapolis. He enjoyed racing and spending time with his family and friends. Brandon had a passion for racing and for his daughter. He married Shannon Dorris (Polley) on November 11, 2011.

Brandon was preceded in death by grandparents, JW and Inice Dorris; and an aunt, Deborah Dorris.

Survivors include his loving wife Shannon of Mooresville; daughter, Irelynn Rae Dorris of Mooresville; mother and father, Cindy and Mario Formica of Indianapolis; father, Michael Dorris of Indianapolis; sister, Kimariee (Mike) Rose of Camby; brothers, Gabriel Formica, Nichola Formica of Indianapolis, Jason Morgan, Kenneth Morgan of Monrovia; Christian Matheson of Indianapolis; grandparents, Carolyn and Roy Spivey of Gosport, Larry Kearley of Indianapolis, Nancy and Tom Formica of Ohio; and many other family members.

The graveside service will begin at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2012, in White Lick Cemetery with calling from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Burial will be in White Lick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.   1. Oh brandon..did we have some crazy times together. Driving around doing donuts at three in the morning in two feet of snow! Making me play freeze out while pouring rain! Or when youtried to make us macn cheese and noodles came out in one solid clump! Lol Also the time we drove to Indy at two in the morning and made smoked sausage in the race car garage. Lol No matter what we did together, you made it a blast! We all miss you…..

  2. I knew Brandon as a young boy mainly,,but would see him through the years as he grew into a handsome man. As he grew up,, whenever I would see him he would be kind and say hello and ask me how I was. I was touched by that. I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers for you all… Michael Dorris & Family.
