Brian Scott Chilcote

Brian Scott Chilcote, 49, Camby, passed away November 5, 2021, after a difficult battle with Covid-19. Brian was the first baby born in Hendricks County in 1972, being born January 1, to the late Richard Eugene Chilcote and Nancy (Dillon) Chilcote, who survives.
He graduated from Center Grove High School and worked for many years for Direct TV, first as an installer and later in management. More recently, Brian stayed busy driving for Door Dash and enjoyed other part time jobs. He was a devoted member of New Life Baptist Church in Brooklyn. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved trips to Brown County to hike, camp, and spend time by the lakes. Brian was a lifelong learner and was an avid reader, always learning something new to better himself. Above all, he was strongly devoted to his wife, children, and family. He will be fondly remembered for his great sense of humor, kindness, and selfless manner.
Survivors include his wife, Pam Chilcote; mother, Nancy Chilcote; children, Makayla (Dustin) Short, Nicholas Chilcote, Kaitlyne Chilcote, and Brent Chilcote; siblings, Kimberly (Bruce) Bloomer, Matthew (Shelly) Chilcote; Jason (Jessica) Chilcote, Jennifer (Jason) Beaman, and Zachary (Victoria) Chilcote; a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A service to celebrate Brian’s life will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021, 11 a.m., at New Life Baptist Church, 8020 N. Old State Road 67, Mooresville. Friends and family may visit at the church, beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday. Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset unexpected medical expenses and life events.
