This is the price you pay for having an amazing uncle. You get the wonder, the joy, the tender moments – and you get the tears at the end, too. I loved it when we would all sit around Aunt Margaret’s table and look at our family’s history. He knew so much. You will greatly be missed.

A blessing to our family. A man who lived by faith, valued family and had the most wonderful kind spirit that will always be remembered. My favorite memories were Christmas times spent together. His grandchildren cherished their Grandpa! – June Chambers

I am very grateful for Denny. He loved me like his own. Denny was a man of great character, intelligence, strength and devotion. The way he lived his life with purpose and intent made him special. I will miss his enduring sense of humor. Steadfast in his beliefs, he loved all of his family regardless of their differences. Denny touched many lives. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. I have fond memories of Denny. Running fire and ambulance calls together. We also spent lots of time discussing model railroading, a passion that we both share. You will be missed.
