Bruce K. Houston

60, of Cloverdale, passed away on March 27, 2019. Bruce was born on September 20, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN to the late, Norris J. Houston and Margaret (Peck) Sisk.

Bruce worked for LABCO for 10 years and most recently at Dominion Reality for 15 years, until retirement. A dedicated father and grandfather, he devoted his life to his family and friends. He coached football, basketball and baseball for the last 30 years for his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and traveling.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Carl Houston, Danny Sisk and Darren Sisk.

Survivors include his stepfather Robert Sisk; stepmother Jean Houston, children; Margo Turner (Tyler), Ashley North (Jason), Quinton Houston (Cari); brothers and sisters, Steve Houston (Gina), Rodney Houston (Dan Forsythe), Lorna Straub (Mike), Dean Sisk (Kelley), David Sisk (Margie), Teri Sale (Lewis), Derek Litteral, Denny Sisk (Barb); grandchildren Rex Lee Hatton III, Alex Bruce Wayne Houston, Dale William Hatton, Kinley Irene Turner, Katlyn Ann Houston, Baby Girl North, Brayden Turner, Baylee Turner, Barrett Turner, Sarah Rodriguez; best friends Courtney Frederick, Kevin Kemp as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Funeral services be held Tuesday 1:00pm at the funeral home, with Pastor Tim Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow the services in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
